Nearest unbagged hill

Enter a Scottish town or place name to find the five closest hills you haven't bagged yet — across all three lists. Useful when planning a weekend from a specific base.

How it works

Pick a list from the tabs — Munros (282), Corbetts (222), Grahams (231) or Donalds (89). Scroll through the hills and tick off the ones you've bagged. The tracker persists your progress automatically in your browser, and the progress bars at the top of the page update live as you tick.

The nearest unbagged hill search at the bottom takes a Scottish town or place name, geocodes it via Open-Meteo's free geocoding API, and returns the five closest hills you haven't done yet — across all four lists. It's the easiest way to plan a weekend from a specific base.

Hills with a site detail page (the ones we've seeded with full route guides) link to the editorial page when you click the name. Hills without a detail page yet are still tick-able — you can log them against the canonical list total regardless of whether we've written the route guide.

Filter by all / to-do / done to narrow the list to what you're actually working on. Sort by name, height (tallest first) or region to surface the hills that match your next trip. Search handles name and region text, so “Torridon” finds every hill in Torridon in one query.
