Wedder Law (the 'gelded ram's law') rises just south of Ballencleuch Law on the Lowther watershed above the Daer reservoir. An unmarked, treeless dome of pale grass with the radar masts of Lowther Hill prominent on the western skyline.

Pair with Ballencleuch Law from the Dalveen Pass — a long traverse along the watershed fence of about 12km return with 600m of climb. 13 km out and back, 552 m up, around 3.5 hours.
Terrain
Short turf and heather on the upper ridge with peat-hags in the col north towards Gana Hill. The fence is the only navigational feature on a featureless plateau.
In winter
Wind-scoured top with deep wreaths of snow in the leeside hollows. The Daer reservoir road can ice over and is unsuitable for low cars in bad winters.
