A 344m heather knoll at NX 60 east of Gatehouse of Fleet, perched above the Big Water of Fleet viaduct. White Top of Culreoch offers a short outing with views down the Fleet valley to the Solway.

heather moorland 60% · rough grassland 30% · rocky summit 10%
Park near the viaduct and follow the old railway path north before turning east onto the open hill. A short heathery pull reaches the summit cairn — under 90 minutes round trip.

Disused railway formation underfoot for the approach, then open heather and rough grass on the hill.
In winter
Low coastal hill with negligible snow. The old railway makes a sheltered approach in any season.
