Wild Swimming
Linn of Tummel
The Linn of Tummel is where the River Tummel and River Garry meet in a confluence of swirling pools and fast channels, set in a mature mixed woodland managed by the National Trust for Scotland. Swimming pools form in the natural rock shelves above the confluence — calm, clear, and sheltered in low-water conditions. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert visited here in 1844; the area retains a Victorian parkland feel with gravel paths and bench viewpoints.
