Our take
Mabie is where you'd take your kids or a nervous adult friend. The blue is one of the gentlest in the network and the skills area is well thought out. The red is legit without being mean.
Insider tips
The Phoenix Trail blue is the entry point. Loosely linked with Dalbeattie for a weekend double-header.
