Our take

Small, quiet, and home to The Slabs — a long run of exposed granite bedrock that has to be ridden to be believed. Come for The Slabs, stay for the rest of the red which is a surprisingly good natural route.

Insider tips

The Slabs are committing but all-rollable for competent riders — just pick your line. The red gets rained off badly.
