Grey Hill
A 297m Carrick coastal hill at NX 16 east of Girvan above the Water of Lendal. Grey Hill gives a quick climb to a fine viewpoint over the Firth of Clyde, with Ailsa Craig dominant on the southern horizon.

Standard route
heather moorland 65% · rough grassland 25% · grassy summit 10%
Park at Pinmore and follow a forestry track west before striking south onto the open hill. The summit trig is a short heathery pull from the forest edge — about 90 minutes return.
Terrain
Forest road then short heather and grass. Easy underfoot throughout.
In winter
Low coastal hill almost never holds snow. Good winter afternoon option from the Girvan area.
