From the Whitelee Visitor Centre near Eaglesham follow the wind-farm access roads south-west, weaving between turbines on the well-graded gravel tracks to reach the summit trig.
Terrain
Hard gravel wind-farm roads the whole way, with a short walk on grass to the trig. Maintained for service vehicles, so the going underfoot is excellent.
In winter
Wind-farm tracks remain accessible through most winters, making this a reliable cold-weather objective. Watch for ice thrown from turbine blades in freezing fog.
