Start from the A836 near Lochan Hakel and follow the line of the Allt na h-Innse Lèithe east, then climb the gentle southwest flank. Roughly 5 hours pathless.

Terrain

Boggy lochan-strewn moor underfoot for the approach, with cleaner gneiss reefs on the upper slopes. The summit plateau is broad and undefined.

In winter

Frozen lochan systems make travel across the moor much easier. Short daylight is the main constraint; carry a strong head torch.
