Kinnoull Hill
A small urban woodland park on the edge of Perth with a handful of green and blue loops, popular with local families and commuter riders. Not a destination trail centre — a useful city-edge spin.

Our take
Kinnoull Hill is where Perth learns to mountain bike. Short, rolling, forgiving forest loops with a viewpoint at the top that surprises most first-time visitors. If you live in Perth or you're passing through on the A9, it's a pleasant after-work hour. Don't drive from Glasgow for it.
Insider tips
The Tower viewpoint is worth the extra climb. Trails are shared with walkers — expect dogs.
Accommodation
Perth has the full range of hotels and B&Bs.
Food
Nothing on the hill itself. Perth city centre is 5 minutes away.
