Linton Hill

Linton Hill is a 282m hill above the village of Morebattle in Roxburghshire (NT 78736 27951), set in the rolling Border country between the Kale Water and the Bowmont. The summit looks south to the Cheviots and north over the Tweed valley.

Approach from Morebattle or Linton village, following the St Cuthbert's Way and field paths up grass slopes to the 282m summit. About 4km return — allow 1-2 hours.

A friendly all-year hill. The Borders rarely sees significant snow at this elevation; St Cuthbert's Way is well maintained and signed.
