Wild Swimming
Loch Lubnaig
Loch Lubnaig is a slim, deep loch pinched between steep hillsides in the Leny gorge north of Callander. The A84 runs along the east shore, making it the most accessible of the Trossachs lochs — a 5-minute pull-off from the road gives you a gravel beach entry and dramatic views of steep craggy slopes. The water is dark and cold, and the narrow valley creates excellent wind protection in all but southerly conditions.
