Wild Swimming
Falls of Falloch
The Falls of Falloch tumble 30m into a natural rock pool on the River Falloch — the most accessible roadside waterfall swim on the West Highland Way corridor. The path from the A82 lay-by takes 10 minutes through woodland. The plunge pool is best in moderate low water — spectacular but swimmable. A popular spot on summer weekends; arrive early or late for a quieter experience.

Safety
The force of the main falls can pin swimmers against rocks at any flow level — swim in the pool area only, not directly under the falls. After rain the current in the pool tail increases significantly. Very slippery rock.
