Been up a Scottish hill and got a good photo? We'd love to use it. Every photographer is credited with their name and a link. Your photo helps other walkers see what the hill actually looks like — better than any stock image.

What happens next

  1. We review your photo within a few days
  2. If it's a good fit, we add it as the hero image on the hill's page
  3. Your name appears as the photo credit on every page view
  4. We'll email you when it goes live (if you provide your email)

Photo guidelines

  • Landscape orientation works best (the hero image is wide)
  • Show the hill itself — summit, ridge, or approach view
  • Good light helps but Scottish weather is Scottish weather
  • At least 1200px wide for sharp display
  • You must own the photo or have permission to share it
  • By submitting, you grant OutdoorSCOT permission to display the photo with credit
