Our take
Camusericht is the alternative approach to Ben Alder — from the south rather than the north via Dalwhinnie. Fewer people come this way. The loch is wild and the bothy is basic.
Getting there
From the B846 near Kinloch Rannoch, follow rough paths north to Loch Ericht. Allow 2 hours. The terrain is boggy.
